Just a lovely week end recap of life, awesome and everything going on in the adventure I traded my work-life balance for, my watch business lol!
THE CRAZY ONES ON WHATNOT AREN’T STOPPING US
Recently, there has been some experiences of harassment from anonymous individuals during TommysTimeShop’s whatnot shows. We don’t want to assume that these individuals are proxies of those who were very vocal against the raid train or our “contributions” in the transformation of the watch community (i.e. being supportive of new sellers, hence the complaints of “too many new sellers on the platform”).
No fear folks, we are STILL going to maintain a presence on WhatNot as long as WhatNot will have TommysTimeShop. Raid Trains, Monday Shows, the once in a while case slot auctions etc. We will also mod as well for a few of our friends on their shows too
If anything ever stops us on WhatNot, most likely from institutional capture upon policy change or if the market drops out from there amid a larger focus on here, the website. The bad actors can keep on trying but wasting their energy.
3D PRINTING – ADDING ANOTHER PRINTER
After dealing with the frustration of leveling and calibrating an old school Voxelab Aquila, I have decided to make an investment in a new filament printer.
The new filament/FDM printer is the Elegoo Centuri Carbon. A bit pricier and way more advanced than the Voxelab. Just like the Elegoo Saturn ultra 12K resin printer, it calibrates and levels on it’s own, automatically. Also, the printer is a direct drive and runs faster. Now printing Mr. Bench Press and Watch Winders will happen at a fraction of the time.
This does mean that our shop uses all Elegoo 3d printing equipment. Resin/Filament/Filter System/Wash and Cure
And yes, I did say Mr. Bench Press and Watch Winders. The official Mr. Bench Press will go on sale by end of August.
AN UNPLANNED LULL IN INVENTORY ACQUISITION
I have been slacking majorly at acquiring inventory for the shop. I am slowly getting back into the fray. It will take me some time to get back up to full speed. List items on here for sale, sale events on WhatNot, etc. I do apologize for the lack of awesome lately.
GETTING BACK ON COURSE AND THE EMPHASIS NOW
After nearly having an off month, taking care of family and getting back on course, I hope to be back acquiring new watches within a week from now. I also hope that with the new 3d printing capability, that we can bring you a full range of Mr. Bench Press collectibles for your watch bench, shop or desk.
