Mr Bench Press Sunbeam Giallo (Yellow) Edition

This is for those who need a nice happy, beaming, loud and bright Mr Bench Press in their lives. Not that the OG orange does the job, but this one is as bright as old Sol and brings cheer!

The lovable, and functional case back press was just a 3d printed press that sat around for when Tommy needed to close Timex indiglo and other complicated to close press fit casebacks.

Then one day, an estate sale around the corner in the neighborhood, randomly Tommy found some googly eyes for sale for a quarter. Oddly, Tommy started putting these googly eyes on 3d printed tools, the mini jewelry cleaner, the beverage fridge (Mr. Fridgee) and the hot dog toaster (Mr Frank ‘n Toaster.)

This act of strangeness somehow gave these tools a new life, an idea to make them a sideshow of creativity and becoming the mascots of the shop.

After numerous shows on whatnot, posts on instagram, the keychain, which was 30% of the size of the original Mr Bench Press went live. As giveaways, promotional items and also sold. Then a few long months afterwards, a line of earrings were released.

Only after nearly a year of customers wanting to have one, the original size Mr. Bench Press of their own, On August 31’s made it official.

There are several colorways available, including the original Orange.

The construction is primarily PLA+ Orange with black 3d printer resin and a 608 bearing with a long bolt and two hex nuts.
