Seiko kinetic Sports 50 5M43-0B19

This Seiko Kinetic mens sports 50 just had a capacitor replaced. Believe it or not it isn’t quite a Herculean task compared to completely servicing and cleaning an automatic watch.

This kinetic in particular, akin to an automatic with a weighted rotor in the back, charges a capacitor which keeps the watch running.

Some wear, however it’s a seiko and it’s a tough one as you know with all seiko watches.

This one is a special kinetic, it has an exhibition case back where you can see the moving rotor and the innards of this fine watches movement.
