WHEW! August was quite an explosive month.
A few epic sales, the more epic raid train and now starting to see sales happen on here.
May we not forget to mention that Mr Bench Press was officially released on Whatnot. So far, we sold a few, which is amazing.
Also, as you know, we have recently doubled down into the realm of 3d printing, with adding a print-on-demand opportunity to add an unlimited amount of offerings to our customers, new and current!
AUGUST RAID TRAIN
The August 23rd All Day Raid Train (HooooHoooooooooo!!!!!) Was a massive success. We brought hundreds more into the awareness of the awesome watch community on whatnot. Upon request, I was asked by many to run a show, which was a huge success as well.
Many sellers did very well, as well as some great input from sellers and customers alike to make our every other month raid trains MOAR successful.
Which brings us to the discuss of the next raid train, which will be a two day watch festival.
OCTOBER RAID TRAIN WHATNOT WATCH FESTIVAL (OCTOBER 24-25)
So yes, we are putting together a two day raid train watch festival.
With the August raid train, I had (count it) no less than 20 DM’s asking to be on the raid train.
With many current, previous and future sellers wanting to be on the festival, I have had to consider the following:
- I would need to fit 20 shows per day, We would have to add just one show, either at 8:45am eastern or add a show at 11:45pm eastern, going to 12:30am the next day.
- Go to 40 minute shows, shave off 5 minutes per show and be able to facilitate 22 shows per day.
- Do separate tracks for many different types of sales (blowout wholesale pallets, custom builds/mod builds/micromakers/vintage/luxury/low starts/etc.
- Align with Whatnot on bringing co-sponsorships or co-branding opportunities (doordash/ubereats disco codes, etc. official festival swag, through printly, etc.)
The multiple track approach would be interesting. However, there could be an issue with each track having heavily varied chat/viewer counts, (i.e. Pallet sellers/low starts would have a larger headcount than a custom mod stream) I am still thinking this one out.
If we go the single track route over two days, this may still be the approach to be taken. However, we will have 19-20 shows per day, facilitating up to 40 Watch Sellers.
Hoping to have something solid for those who are looking to plan that weekend.
ECOMMERCE CHANNEL (TOMMYSTIMESHOP.COM)
Slowly working on getting efforts to build more inventory. Since we have nearly obliterated our inventory on auctions in the past month, we are working to get the store filled up. With the advent of using 3D printing to add more inventory opportunities, our efforts have waned slightly to bring in more watches.
MR BENCH PRESS
We are still working on loading more inventory on the website and Mr Bench Press will be one of the many items that we will be loading up.
You will have the option of many different colorways, including the original orange color. Special edition colorways will be available as well. Do follow our socials to learn more about them as they are released to the public.
So shortly, the full size press, the keychains and earrings will be available.
3D PRINTING
One of the quickest growing categories in our operation is 3d printing. As you may or may not know, we do print our own Mr Bench Press keychains, presses and earrings in house. We primarily use Elegoo Resin and Filament printers to do the job.
We have recently experienced a surge in opportunities to offer great products on here and whatnot. A lot of bench presses, keychains and now tools, such as a bracelet mandrel is now available in many different colorways. In response to the boost in business and with being satisfied with the Elegoo product line, we are doubling down on the Centauri Carbon printers to double our business production capability. Who knows, we may even have more when we find our new shop to move into.
MORE TO COME, IT ONLY GETS BETTER!
Thank you to everybody who we have worked with, bought from us, whom we bought from and more. The future gets brighter each and every day! GOD BLESS
